New officers and board members of the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) were elected for the 2014-2015 calendar year at the IARW-WFLO Annual Convention & Expo. Among those named to the Board of Directors was Andrew Janson, President of Hanson Logistics.
With nearly 30 years of experience in food logistics, Andrew is past Chairman of the International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA) and continues to serve on the Board. He is Chairman of the Michigan Frozen Food Packers Association (MFFPA), and a past member of the Board of Governors of the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO).
IARW is a partner of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), an association that promotes excellence in the global temperature-controlled warehouse and logistics industry through research, benchmarking, networking, and education. All active members of IARW are also members and beneficiaries of the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO).
Other new IARW officers elected for the coming year were Chairman Tom Poe (Crystal Distribution Services), Vice Chairman Angelo Antoci (U.S. Growers Cold Storage), Treasurer Eben James (Trenton Cold Storage), and director-at-large Doug Harrison (VersaCold Logistics Services).
