St. Joseph, MI – June 15, 2018 – Hanson Logistics announced today that Ken Whah has been appointed Executive Vice President (EVP), effective immediately.
Whah recently joined the company as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will continue those responsibilities in addition to his new role as EVP. Whah will add business development and engineering to his scope of accountability.
“Ken has brought a unique skill set to Hanson Logistics as a member of our growing leadership team, said Jim Reits, Interim President & CEO. “We are confident that his additional responsibilities will be well received by our Teammates and clients alike.”
Prior to joining Hanson Logistics, Whah served as Director of North American Logistics Operations at Whirlpool Corporation where he oversaw 1,000 logistics associates and a network of 23 factory and regional distribution centers. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, a Masters in Engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
