EDI
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) provides for standardized transmission of documents between our customers and Hanson teammates, allowing rapid exchange of orders, receipts, confirmation of those shipments, and comprehensive inventory reporting.
Hanson utilizes the state-of-the-art eVision EDI system directly interfaced with our Foursite WMS. Transaction sets utilized by Hanson and our customers include 856/940/945 (for orders), 943/944 (for receipts), and 846 (for inventory). We adapt our system to accommodate what your business requires, so we do not provide transaction set or edi mapping specifications – we adopt yours.
Communications are supported through intermediate VAN (Value Added Network) connections, via cost-effective AS2, or even Internet-based secure-FTP links directly between your systems and ours. Hanson Logistics can schedule these data exchanges to meet your desires, balancing cost and timeliness.
EDI provides exacting detail and accuracy, rapid communications, and enhanced efficiency for both parties. Service volumes difficult - if not impossible – to accomplish with paper, fax, or telephone communications are easily achieved with EDI. We currently handle well over 5000 documents per month. Let us handle yours too!

Customer Solutions

"On behalf of the managers and drivers, we would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for the excellent service you provided for the 2007 Cherry season. I can't count the number of times our driver complimented the prompt timing of off-loading his truck in an efficient manner. It is this kind of quality service that makes it easy to continue doing business year after year. This season was very special considering the large volume and the quality of the fruit. When we needed to make extra shipments, you came through. We look forward to continuing our respectful business relationship for the 2008 season. As always, it is a pleasure doing business with you.”
